Dr. John Worthington is a highly experienced dentist who brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for patient care to the Premier Dental & Implants team. Dr. Worthington’s journey in dentistry began at the prestigious Herman Ostrow School of
Dentistry of USC. He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Portland. More important, it’s where he met his wife of 24 years, Alison. Together, they have built a wonderful life in the Pacific Northwest, raising two children.
Before embarking on his dental career, Dr. Worthington served as a commissioned officer in the
United States Air Force. He dedicated several years to serving his country and left the Air
Force with the rank of captain. His military background instilled in him a strong sense of
discipline, integrity, and commitment – qualities that he brings to his dental practice.
Dr. Worthington began his dental practice in Portland in 2008. Over the years, he has gained
extensive experience working in both public health settings and private practice. This diverse
background has given him with a broad perspective on dental care and patient needs.
Dr. Worthington is committed to staying at the forefront of dental advancements. He participates in continuing education to ensure he is up-to-date with the latest restorative techniques for implants, crowns, and onlays. Additionally, he keeps current on surgical extraction techniques and root canals. His dedication to lifelong learning enables him to provide the highest quality care to his patients.
