With Dr. Williams, one of the things I mentioned earlier is that he invests in new procedures, the latest technology, and the latest equipment that’s needed to address same-day crowns. It’s remarkable what he has done as far as the technology and what’s available here in his office. There’s no waiting, there’s no, “We’ll do half the procedure today, and then we’ll get this done, and we’ll send it off to a contractor, and he’ll get part of it done, and then it comes back,” and it’s all done while you’re sitting here. And that’s what I like.
Probably one of the advantages of coming to Dr. Williams is everything is local here. He has the equipment, he has the technology and the expertise of making sure that things are done in a short period of time.
I’ve never had an issue with the crowns. I’ve never had any issue with anything, whether it be a filling, a crown, a root canal, which I’m not sure if it’s one of the most complicated procedures that he does, but it’s the most complicated I’ve ever had. I’ve had absolutely no issues with him. I have been so pleased. Highly recommend Dr. Williams if you have any dental issues whatsoever.

When I think about health care or technical services, anything that is really important, I think about several factors. A couple of them are really, really important, and if those boxes get checked – and those are non-negotiable – but if those boxes get checked and then others get checked, other considerations get checked, that’s just a bonus. The first non-negotiable box that I looked at to check is quality, the quality of the service. And Dr. Williams and his team, they … my dental health care is as important to them as it is to me. The second non-negotiable is responsiveness. In the event that you do have a dental emergency, I want people to be responsive to me – or health care emergency or technology emergency – I want people to value my time like I value my time.
And I’ve only had a few over the course of 18 years that I’ve been coming to see Dr. Williams and his team, but every time I’ve had an issue, they have been incredibly responsive, get me in, and it’s not like their schedules are wide open. They’ve been able to fit me in one way, shape, or form.

Ten or 11 years ago, my cousin was doing some … he was doing news reporting for this one dentist who then gave him free dental work. I got in for free. I had cracked a tooth that he was going to put an implant in. He put in two pegs for the implant to go on, and then he kind of disappeared, went out of business, so I just had the two pegs on the bottom here and no tooth on it. And so when I finally came back to Dr. Williams, and there it was, he just kept … every time I’d see him, he begged me, “Please let me do something about that.” So I finally said, “Go ahead, it’ll make your Christmas. Go ahead and let’s do what we got to do.” And he did a very, very good job of getting the first part done.
Yeah, he made it. He made things fit. He got the two bad pegs out, put a new one in that’s nothing like those. It took about an hour and 15 maybe in all, and then they just keep monitoring me, and I come back in April to get it finished. From the first appointment where they did the casting to make sure what size they needed to do and lots of X-rays to everything, the paperwork they sent me home with that explained everything, but they also verbally explained everything to me that was going to be happening and what I could expect to feel and how long it was going to take. Very clear and upfront through the whole process. And when I came here for the day for the actual procedure, made sure that I was nice and numb, talked to me about everything they were doing throughout the whole procedure, offered support, checking on me, telling me what was … I mean, it was great. I never felt once like I was just sitting in a chair while they did their thing. They totally included me.

These people are great here. They are very professional, very personal. They know my husband and I very well. I know their families ’cause we share a lot, and they just make it feel real, like I’m cared for, and very professional and lots of education. When you’re done with your cleanings, they give you all the tools you need to keep on being successful at home with it. And I just feel it’s a very personal and caring group. This is where my husband’s been coming. My kids are gone now. I started coming here, what, six, seven years ago. And I love the staff, love them. They all know who we are, they know who my kids are, what they’re doing.

When I first started coming to see Dr. Gregory Williams, I was in poor dental health. He took me aside and told me that we had a lot of work to do, and little by little he has made me more confident in my smile, and he’s just a wonderful dentist. What Dr. Gregory Williams does, he will not cut corners when it comes to dental care. He explains everything that he’s going to do very thoroughly so that you understand, and he will point out potential problems that I should be looking out for down the road. When I first started coming to see Dr. Williams, he pointed out that he had believed that maybe the previous dentists had been cutting corners on the materials used, and that he only uses top-quality materials with his dental practice, and I believe that to be true. I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that I’ve never had any issues with the work that Dr. Williams has done with my mouth.
I had a weird situation where I had a bridge, and years ago the thing fell out and went down the drain, and I could never recover it and I never got it redone. My tooth moved, it just, it moved from one section to the other. Doctor was asking me, okay, what do I want to do? Don’t want a bridge, do I want the implant? And, and then he told me about the difference. The older you get, the more strength that you need in your jawline. If you don’t have that implant, you’ll lose it. You know, you’ll lose the strength in your jaw. And so I was thinking, okay, well I don’t want that, and you don’t want to have to do a bridge every so many years. And so that’s what got me to the implant.
He explained everything first of all, how one, two, three, four, five – the whole procedure. And then gave me the paper so that I could have it for reference as far as what needs to be done. Once you have the oral surgery, what are the things that you need to do to help the swelling and this and that, or help eliminate any swelling, pain, and things like that.
I can chew now. I can chew on my left side. I can have some steak or whatever and it’s great. I was constantly chewing on my right side, and it’s almost like you’re going on the road, and, well, your tires, it just kind of, you run down the tread, right? So that’s what I was thinking, maybe I was doing that with my teeth after so many years. Now I have the implants, I can chew.

I had neglected my teeth for several years because of my irrational fear of dentists. Even when two teeth and several fillings fell out, I neglected to see a dentist because I was in no pain. Finally, as eating became a problem, I went for an examination at Premier Dental. There were none of the smells or noises that usually set me off. More importantly, no one scolded or talked down to me. Instead, I got a full mouth x-ray along with several individual x-rays before the thorough examination by the dentist. The Doctor was most understanding as he explained what my problems were. He then told me the pros and cons of possible solutions along with a ball park figure of the prices. The excellence of this exam gives me every confidence that Premier Dentistry lives up to their ads. I must say, I was shocked when I was presented with the bill: $79. One graft will need to be redone. I know Dr. Williams will take care of. This is due to my smoking, NO MORE! As he said smoking is a no go. So it will be. If anyone is thinking of implants and smoke. Stop before you have it done. Also see these great people about having it done. You will be very glad you did.

Dr. Williams and his team are the best. I came to him because I had a cavity in one of my back molars. This cavity was a beast. I was in so much pain. Dr. Williams and his team took such great care of me. First my tooth did not want to cooperate with the anesthetic even though I was numb pretty good. Dr. Williams had to drill in the tooth to place more anesthetic directly to the nerve. I’m like this tooth better lay down lol but it did and Dr. Williams did his work. I had to have several things done and Dr. Williams and his dental hygienist were the perfect pair. If you need a dentist in Tigard or just looking for a good dental office/team that really care about thw patient come see Dr. Gregory Williams. You will not be disappointed.

I never thought I’d ever say “I love going to the dentist”. However going to doctor Gregory Williams dental office has always been a pleasure. I look forward to visiting him and his team. They are professional, personable, gentle, competent and compassionate. He explains things clearly. He works with his patients budget/insurance timeline. Dr. William’s is funny, a good story teller, a family man, a good boss to his staff & a great dentist. He & his staff regularly attend workshops to learn new skills & they use the latest technology.
